Plan to Eat still my favorite recipe tool

My favorite recipe tool

I created a quick video to show why Plan to Eat is still my favorite recipe and meal planner tool and realized that I have a pattern going by posting every other year about it, LOL.

If you are always looking for new recipes online like I do, you may also get annoyed by having to scroll all the way down the screen to find the recipe. While I like to read about the blogger’s experience with the recipe and admire their beautiful photos (boy, I have a long way to go), I don’t like all the scrolling to the bottom of the post. When I’m looking at a recipe to find out if it’s something I want to try, or when I’m ready to cook, all I want are the list of ingredients and instructions.

This is where Plan to Eat comes in handy, big time!! Once I reviewed a recipe and I’m ready to give it a try, I import it into the meal planner tool (see video). No more scrolling down perfect looking photos and stories; I get right to the nitty-gritty list of ingredient, and the instructions! Plan to Eat also imports 1 photo, so you’ll have an image of the dish. Now I don’t know how they do all the stripping, I just think it’s a beautiful thing that saves me lot of time!

Quick and easy way to collect recipes in one place

To access the tool, I use a browser on my computer or iPad, but I also use the app on my iPhone. I love having my favorite recipes available in so many ways. When I don’t feel like getting my tablet upstairs, I can still use my phone and get cooking. Check the video how to add recipes (sorry, no sound).

You can add to your collection by manually entering a recipe and photo, but my favorite and the easiest way, is to import a link from the internet. Copy and paste the link, click on Import and there… recipe plus photo added to your collection!

Plan to Eat even created a Chrome add-on to save even more time. When you’re on the webpage of the recipe, just click on the browser add-on (top right corner) and the recipe will be imported in the tool. Click on Refresh to view the recipe. I don’t think it gets any easier!

Annual promotion at 50% off

Every year around Thanksgiving, Plan to Eat has a promotion at 50% off and I just think it’s perfect timing. This year they decided (unlike previous years) to promote after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, plus extend the sale for an entire week until December 2nd. My apologies for not posting this sooner, but you know, life happens.

I’ve extended my own subscription at half price, because who wouldn’t want to save time with meal planning for only $1.60 per month? If you don’t have a subscription yet, just try it for 30 days, risk free. Cancel if you don’t like or haven’t used the tool before the time is up. It’s that easy! But, for reasons listed above, I’m pretty sure you’ll like to use Plan to Eat too. (If you decide to buy from my links, I may earn a commission without any additional cost to you. Thanks for your support!)
