My version of Fellini’s pizza, and similar to Hawaiian pizza. You can make the dough yourself, or do like me and buy pre-made pizza dough or crust. This pizza should be enough for two.
1 uncooked pizza or bread dough or ready-made pizza crust (8 inch)
1/4 cup pizza sauce
3/4 cup shredded mozarella cheese (reduced fat)
1/2 cup pineapple chunks (drained)
3/4 cup ham (cubed)
1 clove garlic (grated)
1/2 tbs olive oil (for uncooked crust)
Roll the dough on a pizza pan or cookie sheet (round or rectangular doesn’t change the flavor). Spread the olive oil, garlic, and pizza sauce evenly (in order), sprinkle half of the cheese, then add the ham, pinapple and mushrooms, topping with remaining cheese. Bake in a preheated oven (450 F) for 10-20 minutes until the cheese has melted or is golden brown. Use the shorter cooking time for the pre-made crust. Let cool for a few minutes before cutting slices.
